Aridnyk

Aridnyk is a tile placement game for 1-4 players inspired by Ukrainian myths. Shepherds lead sheep into the highlands, meeting spirits, fulfilling quests, and collecting sheep. Play competitively, cooperatively, or in family mode. Aridnyk is based on myth and legend of the Carpathian Mountain range, which stretched through several countries including Ukraine. Boardova is a Ukrainian company with the designer and Artist being Ukrainian as well. This game is dripping with Ukrainian culture. On their turn, players place tiles, forming the game board. Each tile has a power for when it is placed, and one for when a shepherd lands on it. From these powers, players will move their shepherd, the Gods, and gain or lose sheep. The Gods or Spirits can affect gameplay by giving sheep, moving the board, or granting other boons.
