The LUDOS Collection was created to preserve traditional games from the past for future generations. Volume Two, titled LUDOS Africa, features four two-player ancient strategy games originating from different regions of the continent: Yote (Mali), Oware (Ghana), Dara (Nigeria), and Fanorona (Madagascar). The project was supported by over 2,900 backers on Kickstarter.

History: Yote is a jump-and-capture game that originated more than 200 years ago among the nomadic Fulani people in the lively marketplaces of West Africa.
How to Play: Players control a caravan of 12 camels and aim to capture all of their opponent's pieces to win the game.
