WETA - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Art Print - Faramir's Charge
The charge unfolded, reluctant yet inevitable, and upon the fields the thunderous hooves of Gondor's finest mingled with the anguished cries of a people desperate to defy their fate. Faramir, determined to defend his home and his honour, rode with the grace of a sorrowful prince, leading his men into the maw of certain peril.
As the gates of Minas Tirith swung open to release the defenders, a heavy silence descended. The air was thick with the scent of despair, and the eyes of those who remained behind held a mixture of dread and admiration for the sons of Gondor. Faramir's gaze, though burdened by the weight of his duty, burned with a quiet determination.
Expertly captured by Nick Keller, who was the lead concept designer at Wētā Workshop during the making of The Hobbit film series. He was responsible for many of the trilogy’s weapons and armour designs, including the Dwarves’ armour, the Elves of Mirkwood, and Azog’s Battle of the Five Armies armour, among others.
