WETA - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Environment - Rivendell

It is one of the most successful dioramas in the history of Weta; the original Rivendell, released about fifteen years ago, was also in very high demand for a reissue among fans of the line.

But since it was impossible to reuse the original mold—which had deteriorated over time—the studio decided to completely resculpt this iconic setting in order to pay tribute to it in the most beautiful way possible.

Here, then, is a stunning new version of Rivendell with a taller base that accentuates the city’s mystical atmosphere.
