World Order (Base Game)
World Order (Base Game)
World Order transports you to the year 2010, a time of significant shifts in the global power structure. As the influence of the USA wanes, Beijing gains power, Moscow challenges Washington in a global game of chess, and the EU struggles to find its own voice. In this race for hegemony, every decision counts, as the balance of power can change at any moment.
You take control of one of the four major powers – the USA, China, Russia, or the EU – and rely on diplomacy, economic dependencies, or military show of force to keep rivals in check. Alliances don't form automatically, and every action influences who ultimately comes out on top.
The game builds on established theories of international relations (realism, liberalism, constructivism) and combines strategic gameplay with academic rigor. Due to total asymmetry, each faction plays differently: Each superpower has its own unique Dominance Deck that you must master to exploit your strengths.
